Why travel to Argentina? One of the most beautiful places that attract Alpinits and trekkers from all over the world. Rock climbing, Ice climbing, trekking, glaciers, and the rich cuisine of South America are some of the activities you will experience on this trip.
Patagonia's territory has an approximate area of 1,061,000 km2, covering the territory of Chile and Argentina. However, in southern Argentina, the picturesque formations of the needles of the iconic mountain range of Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre and its dozens of glaciers, linked to the third largest ice field in the world, make the region of El Chaltén and El Calafate a breathtaking mountain paradise with gorgeous landscapes for all types of adventurers.
Protected by Los Glaciares National Park since 1937, this inhospitable region of singular beauty offers a good infrastructure of accommodation, restaurants, transport, and, access to trails.
Come and fall in love with this picturesque region, increasingly famous for its beauty, visiting famous spots and places little known by adventurers from all over the world who come to walk thistheseils during the southern hemisphere summer.
WEATHER
Summer: February and March (daytime average: 12°C and night time: 0°C). These temperatures vary, as in the summer the place always has winds coming from Antarctica, which makes the thermal sensation sometimes lower.
In Patagônia prepare to meet the famous wind and be always ready to have up all different seasons in a single day. A waterproof jacket should always be with you, to protect you from wind, occasional rain, or frost.
Therefore, it is important to be aware that the order of our programming can be changed according to the weather for our safety or to enjoy better the climb or hiking days.

- Gisely Ferraz coordinated this trip with Eli Zucchini, who also works for NOLS. She is Brazilian and has been promoting adventure itineraries past 12 years in different parts of the world.
- Together, we propose a different adventure through one of the iconic regions of the world, integrating into our itinerary some of the most famous trails with places still little visited, but of stunning beauty.
